our last few days...

we've had the yukiest stomach bug since thursday and every caught a variation of it. i definitely think poor little eben got hit the worst. i'm taking him to the doctor today. hopefully we are over it now.

so rhett went to check on emily jane to make sure she had finally fallen asleep...and this is where he found her. HA guess she thought her bed was too small...

we were sitting at the table having dinner when rhett burped (he said excuse me) and then this conversation happened:

eben: daddy! you're a monster!

rhett: what? i'm a monster? no, i think it was emily jane.

emily jane: (making a burping/browling noise) bgaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh.

eben: ah! emily jane's a monster!

emily jane: no - i'm a GIANT!!!! hahahahaha

then i burped

emily jane: MOMMY'S A GIANT!!!

rhett: is it funny eben?

eben: nope.

rhett: is it scary?

i've been trying to potty train emily jane - we have good days and bad days - but today i was explaining YET AGAIN

me: emily jane, if you feel pee pee coming, you have to go really fast to the bathroom! you can't just go pee pee in your big girl panties or on the floor. so when your pee pee is coming, go to the bathroom!

emily jane (eyes wide, VERY dramatically and drawn out, acting like this is a brand new concept and she just got it): oooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo

HA! as if this is a new concept and i hadn't already explained this every day for the past few months.

hoppin' bunnies

our kids were so adorable in their preschool easter programs. :) eben wasw much more animated than last time - even if he didn't smile. :) emily jane was herself - somewhat singing and dancing but mostly having fun. marie was a bit too little to be a part of the stage action - but she had so much fun with her personal easter egg hunt. HA!
