"he's having his bible reading, eben"

"no he's not - his eyes are closed - he's sleeping mommy"

"oh, he's probably praying"

"when's he gonna be done?"

"well, he has to pray for everyone he loves"

"he must love A LOT of people mommy"

Eben was doing a really good job of eating his supper one night and I nodded in eben's direction and said to Rhett,

"eben is really going to town!!"

in all seriousness, eben looks at me and says,

"what town am i going to mommy?"

HA!

so then tonight at supper, he took a bite and then said,

"i'm going to town mommy!"

HA!

so eben's new thing is knock knock jokes...which really aren't funny except to his silly self...

what cracked me up at the end was she was so serious - almost boring while singing it! it still makes me laugh!!!
