my littlest baby is two

my little baby marie is two years old! it's funny how time seems to fly and crawl by at the same time. :) here's some snapshots of our celebrations.

we celebrated at home with cake and presents.

we also celebrated with mimi and grandaddy before they left for overseas.

rhett: emily jane, will you stay my little girl forever?

emily jane: yes daddy! i'll stay your little girl forever...until i turn four.

emily jane: you cut your toe?! mommy! that's a bad plan!

eben comes running into the kitchen to find me and exclaims:

mom! marie is TOTALLY making a mess.

HAHA! wonder where he's heard that before...

marie is going through a phase where she loves to change her clothes. she'll disappear for a few minutes into her room and come out in a completely different outfit - sure it's backwards, inside out, and not buttoned up - but its a new outfit she put on all by herself. at least 5 times a day!
