our minivan had to be worked on this past week so i had all the car seats in the back of the pathfinder, loaded up the girls in the car and told eben to come get in the car and this was his response

"i get to sit next to these two ladies!"

rhett had an overnight meeting up in bonclarken this past week and i was petting jonas (which is a very rare occurrence here) and emily jane says

"mommy, you're funny! that's daddy's jonas!"

to completely understand this i have to add some words ... eben has been watching madagascar2 and LOVES the "i like to move it move it" song and he's been going around shaking his hips all day! it's hilarious!

Eben was doing a really good job of eating his supper one night and I nodded in eben's direction and said to Rhett,

"eben is really going to town!!"

in all seriousness, eben looks at me and says,

"what town am i going to mommy?"

so then tonight at supper, he took a bite and then said,

"i'm going to town mommy!"

HA!

what cracked me up at the end was she was so serious - almost boring while singing it! it still makes me laugh!!!

my crawling baby

so marie has been crawling since oh before thanksgiving? and this video was taken right around christmas - so she's much faster now and is trailing the furniture now as well - she'll be walking soon! we had her 9 month check up this week - she's weighing in at a whopping 16 lbs 5 oz (15%) and measuring 27 inches (25%) and her head was 17 1/2 inches (80%)!! she's a tiny little baby doll! and she's twice as active as i remember eben and emily jane being...and that's saying something!

and i need it more often than others...i often change around the furniture in my house just for fun...so now it's time to change around the blog...

so emily jane is still working on potty training...she does pretty good most of the time...so on thursday this was our conversation...

"mommy, pee pee is coming"

"OK!"
we run to the bathroom. i sit her on the toilet.

"you going pee pee?"

"yes mommy. pee pee's coming"

"is poo poo coming?"

"no mommy. poo poo not coming. poo poo's lost"

HAHAHA

which reminded me of a funny potty training eben story. we're sitting in the bathroom cuz he likes company while he goes...and his tummy is a little upset if you catch my drift. he goes #2 then looks in the toilet and says

"oh no mommy!! my poo poo is broken!"

HAHA
