eben the performer :)

this whole week we've been participating in our church's music/drama camp - and have been having exhausting fun! :)

at yesterday's performance, eben got stage fright and refused to get up on stage - then this morning for church they sang two songs - which eben made it through half of the first which was a good effort i thought! he was the youngest kid i believe in the program. and then this afternoon once again got too scared to get up and sing. he knew the whole song and the motions but oh well...maybe next year - here's a little video from church - sorry about the quality and the seats...i tried to hide so that he didn't see me but you can tell the moment he does - he can't think about anything except that he's not with mommy. silly lovey mommy's boy. he's the short kid in the middle with his blanket - haha - and you thought linus was attatched to his blanket!

i am the mother of three children! am i really that old? often i feel as though i'm just the babysitter and keep checking the clock so see what time it is..when are these kids' parents going to get back?! oh wait...i'm these kid's parent. haha my kids are so wonderful...and i love them to pieces! i just don't feel old enough to be a mommy of 3...where does time go?

no matter how small

when we got back to our house yesterday, rhett saw this in our carport...this teeny tiny spider had caught this huge grasshopper(?) thing in its web! the web was able to keep that thing in the air, and the spider was able to kill it! isn't that crazy? i mean...the spider must be the size of the grasshopper's eye! no matter how small you are...you can still do mighty things...

eben goes bowling

we had such a fun time going bowling with eben...he had a blast! even if his score was under 50. haha his least favorite part was waiting for his turn to come again.

after we came home, eben was plum tuckered...i don't know why, but he wanted to take his shirt off...who can understand the mind of boys...

newest child of the covenant

our little marie is now baptized. it was so special that rhett's first baptism ever was his own daughter's. eben was baptized by his grandaddy...emily jane by her grandpa...and marie by her daddy...isn't that awesome?! marie looked so adorable in the heirloom dress and the bonnet made by her great grandmother. it was such a special day. :)

so...this is my eben...completely...he's so into all the super hero people right now...just take a look and have a laugh!

this is probably my most favorite stage of babies - when they smile and talk and their eyes light up when they realize they are getting attention. this is marie tonight just gabbing away at me. :) i just love her...she really looks like a babydoll, doesn't she?
