fun with friends!

we had so much fun with our friends - eamon & tami & leah(2 1/2 yrs old) & Matthew(1 yr old) & Toby(dog) - coming to visit! even jonas had a friend :) haha

Great Grandma Hornby

My Grandma lives in Michigan and she doesn't get to see us very often - but she does love us! She made Emily Jane this sweet sweet dress and made an adorable bonnet for Marie! I wish we could see her more...but a LONG road trip with 3 kids just doesn't sound possible to me right now. We miss her. (and Grandpa of course!)

I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA!

so we got a swing set for our little backyard and besides the mosquito problem we have (hence the tiki torches) - we love it! and i was playing with me new camera that i got for mother's day today and i just love it! aren't the pictures precious! and the colors are so vibrant and the camera fits in my pocket and i love it!!! wahoo!! even jonas made a pose. :) haha The bottom picture is a mommy's perspective...my most typical view of Marie.

4 Generations

My Grandpa Davis came to visit us and meet little Marie. He held her and sang to her and it was just precious! Here's some pictures of us and our 4 generations of family. :)

This is Eben being like mommy when mommy was sick. He laid on the sofa, pulled the blanket over him, and put a miserable look on his face and said. "Mommy, my head hurts. You need to be quiet." HAHAHA

Emily Jane is such a girly girl! She loves to talk on the phone, have bows in her hair, wear pretty dresses, have cute shoes on, and wear accessories like necklaces and sunglasses! She's such a cutie pa tootie!

not so little Marie!

My little Marie is getting to be not so little! She's growing and changing every day. She's up most of the day now, cat-napping here and there, and sleeping all night long (only waking up once in the night to eat!). She's such a sweetie pie...as you can see.

Here's the first Carson kid bath time! Let me say it was a little hectic as Marie kept sliding down into the water while I was trying to take a picture! And getting Eben and Emily Jane to smile at the same time...well, you see the result of that! But it was fun!
